There is just a stirring of excitement within me the last few weeks that is directly tied to our situation. I can not explain in words clearly enough I am sure, but I feel almost like a little kid looking at the clock ticking away the last few minutes of the school year and knowing summer is just about mine!
This anticipation is growing day by day, even minute by minute. I feel as if our dry, dead season is getting ready to turn and I am excited for the outcome before it is even here.
There is a new hope alive in me. I have absolutely NO idea what this change is going to look like. I do not know if it is a new job for the husband, an agreement with our house, or breakthrough in another area we have been pursuing. For all I know all our areas are going to shift and we are going to be propelled forward into God’s perfection for our lives.
I just know He has given us the answer and we are at the place of being ready to receive it with arms open wide.
Through the trials we never stopped praising, we never stopped looking at our joys, we never stopped believing for better.
I am not saying these things to be boastful, but to share that sometimes our reactions in situations keep us in position to be ready to receive God’s greatness!
I do know that what we have been going through, is not God’s best. It is time to see some things shift.
Challenge this day my friend: When you are dreaming and thinking about your situations, what is it that stirs hope in you? When is it you start anticipating great things? Think on these things that bring an excitement, more than your situation right now. Go boldly to the throne and know He will answer you!
Romans 4: 20-21
Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised
